Structure of adjustable thermostat

The adjustable thermostat includes a large body bracket, as well as a cam temperature adjustment shaft, positioning spring, large body shell, and a ceramic column. The large body shell is riveted to the large body and forms a limit cavity with the large body bracket. The cam temperature adjustment shaft is set above the limit cavity and passes down through the large body shell, and its bottom is set inside the limit cavity. One end of the ceramic column is sleeved at the bottom of the cam temperature adjustment shaft, The other end passes down through the large body piece bracket, and the positioning spring piece is fixed on the side wall of the limit cavity.

Control method of adjustable thermostat

  1. Automatic reset: As the temperature changes, the internal contacts automatically open and close.
  2. Manual reset: When the temperature rises, the contacts will automatically open; After the temperature of the thermostat cools down, it is necessary to manually press the button to reset the contact and close it again.
  3. One shot action.
  4. Automatic and manual integration.

Operating principle

  • The adjustable thermostat is a type of thermosensitive reaction component that uses a fixed temperature bimetallic disk,
  • When the temperature of the main component of the product increases, the heat generated is transferred to the bimetallic disc, and when the action temperature setting is reached, it quickly acts, causing the contact to open or close through the action of the mechanism;
  • When the temperature drops to the reset temperature setting, the bimetallic disc quickly returns to its original state, causing the contacts to close or open, achieving the purpose of connecting or disconnecting the circuit, thereby controlling the circuit.

Precautions for use

  • When using contact temperature sensing installation, the surface of the metal cover of the temperature switch should be completely close to the installation surface of the controlled instrument.
  • To ensure the temperature sensing effect, apply thermal conductive paste on the temperature sensing surface of the appliance.
  • During installation, the top of the metal surface of the temperature switch should not be crushed, loosened or deformed to avoid affecting its function and precision.
  • Do not allow liquid to penetrate the interior of the temperature switch or use excessive force to cause cracks in the casing.
  • It is not allowed to arbitrarily change the shape of the external wiring terminals to avoid affecting electrical reliability. Insulation protection measures should be taken to prevent leakage and ensure safe use.
